A copy of Florence's birth certificate. Born on 23 April 1882 the certificate reveals her parents names and occupation as Lighthouse Keeper and the birthplace as Bidston Lighthouse.
Reginald Eric KNOWLES
The marriage of Reginald Eric KNOWLES and Edith May WARREN at St. Mary's Church, Walthamstow on 31 October 1914. Details revealed are that Reginald was a Book Keeper at the time and Edith at home - both living at 7 Sylvan Road - a terraced house that our father grew up in. The fathers' names are recorded as Thomas Du Rose KNOWLES and Samuel Warren. The Du Rose middle name was taken as part of a family tradition whereby the eldest son took it ever since two KNOWLES brothers married two Du Rose sisters.
